As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to payroll and accounts payable. You will be processing invoices, managing payroll and utilizing accounting software systems to ensure smooth financial operations. Responsibilities: • Manage and process up to 150 invoices bi-weekly received through mail or email• Write manual checks for approved payments• Handle payroll operations using PayCor for a small administrative team• Utilize the BS& A Accounting & Finance ERP for various accounting tasks• Solve problems independently and communicate openly with team members• Use government accounting principles for municipalities• Manage and maintain accurate records of transactions• Ensure effective communication and problem-solving skills are utilized in daily tasks• Use accounting software systems proficiently to handle financial operations
